Introduction of Truck Axle:
The truck axle products are developed with internationally advanced technologies, including front axle, front drive axle, single-reduction axle and double-reduction drive axle. The axle is processed with electronic beam welding machines from the US and Germany and double-head high-precision cylindrical grinding machine from Germany to ensure the welding quality and machining precision of housing and major components; thus the assembly is characterized by high strength, bearing capacity and tonnage, resistance to impact load and deformation, wide range of speed ratio and good speed reduction performance. The axle shaft is extrusion-molded with cold-beating spline from Switzerland and has a high torsional strength after surface thermal treatment . The axle has the best performance among congeneric products in China and can be equipped with ABS and automatic slack adjuster on request of customer. Currently, our truck axle products have been widely used on heavy-duty trucks and military off-road vehicles in China and exported to Iran, Russia, Europe and America and Southeast Asia.
Technical Advantages:
1) The middle section of axle housing is welded to the axle head with Thomson double-head friction welding machine, providing high strength and high resistance to impact load and fatigue for the housing assembly;
2) The wheel side is lubricated with gear oil to ensure full lubrication, avoid defect in traditional lubrication and improve the service life of bearing.
3) The external brake drum is used so that hub needs not to be removed in replacement of friction plates; thus it is of convenience for maintenance;
4) The axle housing assembly, differential carrier and main reducing gear housing are processed using NC machining center to ensure the overall machining precision and the usability of axle assembly;
5) The bake used is Φ410×220 in specification and compared to Φ420×185, the clearance between brake drum and rim is larger, which is conducive to heat dissipation of brake and avoid brake failure. The brake can provide a braking moment up to 34560 N·m, making the brake reliable and increasing the safety in running; additionally, the friction plate has variable cross-section, which improves the service efficiency of friction plate and makes the braking more steady;
6) Small speed ratio and applicable to high-power engine, increasing the conveying efficiency;
7) Hyperbolic gears are used in axle assembly; in gear drive, multiple gears mesh with long slip line of tooth surface, making the drive more steady and reliable and providing a large drive torque and high gradeability;
8) The axle assembly is 909 kg (intermediate axle) or 766 kg (rear axle) in weight; the light weight of the assembly contributes to improve the fuel economy of vehicle;
9) The composite oil seal is used in the main reducing gear, avoiding the oil leakage of the main reducing gear.
